Cic asked me to send them the updated documents as they are now going to start the process of my application.

They gave me 90 days to send them updates. ( 15 Febuary they wrote the letter, 20 Febuary they sent the letter, I received on 13 March). Unfortunatly there are some technical problems i am having nowadays and can't send my complete updated documents till 15 May.

My question is can i send my updated documents 10 15 days late then 15 May which i suppose the 90th day. Or should i send the whatever i have and ask them little more time for some updates.

Waiting for answers of seniors......

Regards

Please do not delay and calculate the 90 days carefully to submit the updated documents. Try to manage it on time. Could you please share where did you apply?

My name is Imran and I live in Saudi Arabia. I applied at London office back in September 2005 and got my AOR on 4 October 2005.

I was out of city for office work and couldn't able to check my P.O.Box. My residency permit is expired and I am in the process of renewing which is creating problem for me. My bank account is also freeze cause of that.
I can't give IELTS and even can't register myself for IELTS without having residency permit. I have a job offer from Canada that documents will also take some time to reach me. So I don't have anything ready with me till now as I mentioned my previous post they wrote that letter on 15 Feb, Sent from London on 20th Feb and I received at my P.O.Box on 13th March. One month was wasted in reaching the document and I lost more one and half month because I was out of city.

PMM replied my second post and told me not to send incomplete document, he suggested that I should email to London office and tell them I’ll send my documents on so and so date.

My problem is I don't know how long my residency permit will take to reach me....may be 1 week or may be one moth. I can't register myself for IELTS and can't access my bank account and even i can't leave Saudi Arabia without permit is renewed. So please guide me what to do??

Shall I send them email and tell them my problem and ask them some more time as PMM suggested? Or shall I go ahead with only updated forms and write in cover letter my problem and ask them more time to arrange supported documents? Or any other suggestion required from you or any other senior.

If I ask them more 60 days then is there any problem? cause i don't want to ask them 20, 30 days, if by chance I don't able to arrange all documents on time then what will happen??................

So its better to ask 60 days more and I am sure I’ll solve all problems and arrange all these documents early then 60 days and I can send them all documents within that time.

Waiting for reply....

Regards

Imran

Middle East
hi,
i m feeling sorry for u ,as i also live in middle east n can easily understand ur condition. i ll refrain myself to give u any suggestion as i m also not 100% sure abt the situation wht to do. Obviously PMM is a very well informed n knowledgeable member, so his opinion shd be the best choice for u

Wht i ve READ (thts not my experience)tht sometimes some members ve granted some extra time by cic for the submission of any remaining docs , but they had provided prove for it. anyways all the best to u n good luck.
