Update on permanent residency application via Express Entry

I am teeydon from Nigeria, my AOR date is 17th July 2018, I have been in IP1 since August 3rd 2018 and till date I have received no update, I'm thinking of asking for my visa office(Is it advisable or not)?
Will appreciate any relevant information I should take note of...thanks
