Unsure if spouse to be added on to my profile

I came here with the status of spouse open work permit and have created by express entry profile. My husband came to Canada to study and I am his dependent. At present, my CRS score is pretty good. But if I add my spouse to my profile the score further declines. So I have just added his name as non accompanying spouse. Would that be a problem? Will be I able to later add his name on to my profile after receiving the invitation?

Yes, but you put him as non accompanying. That is the whole point - you get more points so you sponsor him. You also need to explain why you did that in your PR application.
