University transcripts

Howdy,

CIC asks for official university transcripts but my university would only send an official transcript directly to whoever requested it.

This means I can't send my transcript along with my application unless I send the unofficial one. Did anyone encounter the same problem?

I asked my university to send me an official transcript, and then I sent it to CIC office with my application.

Ask your University to send it to you and then you can send a copy of your OFFICIAL transcript/certificate with your application.

Ask for 2 copies to be mailed to you (if your university is like mine, it should have a seal on the envelope with a comment, "invalid if opened"). Open one to verify the contents are correct, then send the other one with your application (do not open the 2nd envelope).
