University Selection for MS in Electrical Engineering & PR after graduation

Dear Seniors,

I have undergrad degree in BSc electrical Engineering with 76% (3.26 CGPA) from university of South Asia, Lahore, Pakistan. I want to apply for fall 2014 intake. I dont have not IELTS ready in hand. I will appear for IELTS next month. As deadline of few universities is approaching. I want to apply now with english medium of instruction. Also I want to get settled in canada after master studies.

What do you suggest which universities should I target? I have shortlisted, University of Regina, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba, Dalhousie & Memorial Also all these universities accept english medium of instruction letter.

What do you suggest, how many universities should I apply to have safe admission in MSc Electrical engineering? Which universities should I chose? Please recommend me.

Hi hahsan14,

I'm applying at McGill for Masters in Electrical Engineering as well at McGill. You should hurry up with your documents already since a lot of Canadian universities have deadlines set on January for international applicants. I think targeting three universities where you know your profile will qualify should be enough. Good luck!
