University Selection and application procedure.

Hi, I completed my BE(Mech) in 2012 with 7.37 aggregate (2 backlogs in 1st sem) and i do not have an work experience. I am thinking of applying for MEng program for Fall 2014 intake. I will be taking my Ielts test on Nov 9th. I am thinking of applying for University of Calgary, University of Western Ontario, University of Ottawa, University of British Columbia and Queen's University. Kindly let me know with my low engineering grades should i make any changes to the list.
In addition to that, it would be great if someone can let me know when should i start applying for universities and how will the universities match up the ielts score sent by British council and the application form which i will be sending after getting my ielts result.

I am from India, even I am applying for Fall Intake(2014). I have passed BE (MECH) in 2012 and have no work experience. My aggregate 66.15%(First Class with Distinction) with no backlogs. IELTS: 7.0
I have applied to Dalhousie University and University of Saskatchwan recently.
Thinking about applying to University of Ottawa.

Deadline for Ottawa is 1 March 2014. So you have to be quick.

Do you know anyone who's trying to get into MEng - ECE at McGill? I'm clueless about my chances. My GPA is 3.33/4.0; a couple of published papers, five years work experiences, GRE and TOEFL are above minimum requirements.

Hi, i am Ajinkya and i have applied to Dalhousie university (M.Engg-2014 FALL). My online portal is showing the application status is decision made but in the decision it says written notification to follow since last few days. So, can you tell me what does that mean? I am bit confused about it.

Ur inbox was full so i posted here...
thats good to hear but u need to call them and tell them ur status, and in reply they might tell u that ur writen notification will be posted at ur residence.... This letter may either be of confirmation or even rejection....
Sorry to say but, mostly this status means u r rejected for some reason. But u never know, u might also get accepted. But as per experience and research... mostly its a negative response... hope u applied other univ. too
