Hello there, I'm a graduate with a bachelors certificate in dentistry. I want to enroll in a masters in orthodontics graduate program in university of Alberta. Till now all I know is that I need an English proficiency test (IELTS) since my country (Sudan) is not listed in the list of countries which are exempted; a copy of my results and gpa. So my main issue is that I don't know what else do I need to provide with my application. I've heard of DAT exams and M1 exams, but I lack knowledge on these.

The admission requirements on the website are quite straighforward.

Admission requirements otherwise are as listed.


Official transcripts (or a certified true copy) from each university/institute attended
Original degree certificate (or a certified true copy) if your transcript does not indicate a degree earned
TOEFL or IELTS test score report (if your language of instruction in university was English this requirement may be waived)
Three letters of reference (plus the completed appraisal template)
Your curriculum vitae (resume)
Letter of intent – (Describe why you wish to pursue graduate studies at the University of Alberta. For PhD - Indicate your potential supervisor, the sources of funding, and a potential research topic.)

IELTS (Academic test) score requirement of 7.5 with at least 6 on each band

Completed my education in Nigeria, India and the UK.
IGCSE - 2 A, 3 B, 2 C
IB Diploma - 24
B.Eng Hons Aerospace with Foundation, Uni of Surrey
Foundation scores(A Levels) - 85%
Engineering avg - 59% (Major drop in year 2 due to a medical diagnosis, stated in my application)
