University graduater can apply for diploma in college!

Dear all!
I finish my study at university (in Vietnam) in 2010 and I want to apply for 3 year - course diploma in Seneca Colege (Toronto). But I heart that It's dillicult to take Canada Visa for unversity graduaters if they apply in college diploma. Is it right? How can I do? Please Helppppppppppp!

It is not true that its difficult to get study visa if u have a bachelors degree in yr home country to study for a Diploma in Canada. This is mainly cause most developing countries degrees are of not much value in Canada and Canadian consulate will not consider it as a duplicate qualification. I have also known tonnes of Indian and Pakstain students or even Nepalenese or any developing countries graduates getting their study visas and studying in Toronto and all over Canada!

So no worries, just go ahead and apply, u will get it if u meet the ties requirement and also the financial requirements.

The case seems positive, but give a nice statement of purpose with your application, stating that your intended program is not available or do not have good standard in your country, along with your education goals and plans in future.

To be honest, I stydy Tourism and Hospitality Manegement in university, now I'm working for a half of year and going to apply 3 year - course diploma in Accounting and Finance at Seneca College (Toronto). How chance I can get Canadian Visa and what I can explain with visa officer the reason I change my study feild? I knew it's a bit difficult for me to get a visa because Visa officer will say " I don't have the clear studying road". Is that right?
Another, I must to show that I will return back after finishing my course, how and what can I show for Visa Officer?

Hi hongtam2629,

You can mention in your SOP that you want to learn about hotel/restaurant business and want to open your own restaurant someday, that is why you need to know accounting and all those business calculations. To be very frank dude, its totally upto you how you convince them in your SOP and how flexible the VO is with your application. But it worth a try..

Home ties can be shown by telling that you have families here in your home country, parent, wife or kids (maybe), if you have house/flat or lands, you can show the papers. Those are the home ties that you will come back.
