To issue transcripts in sealed envelopes, my university requires and address. What address should I put? Also, my return address should be my home country (where's my university at) or the country I'm residing in (different from home and university)?

Also, my BSc degree is officially in Arabic, should I send out a copy of it or must do a translation + notarization from Canadian embassy ("true copy of original")?

About first question wait for other option because it has different opinions..........
about second question yes you must translate it and notarized and it is not notarized from Canadian Embassy.........In Pakistan it is notarized from any Lawyer which have valid licence for services or a member of court.........i do not know what is the procedure is in your country.......yes lawyer will declare that (i certify that this is the true copy of the original document)

ok, thanks.

but what's your opinion? As I need to know asap to inform the university.
My personnel experience and past friend experience is this ...........only photocopies of educational documents notarized are accepted at CIO.......there is no need to seal in enevlope.......after visa office may require original in any case...........but at forum many member said that original transcript (mark sheet) have to send in sealed enevelope but i did not take the risk and send notarized copies.......and degrees

Don't take any risks. Do what they ask you to do. All degrees notarized and sealed envelopes for your transcripts (they will also be in english, right?)

As for the address that's just a detail. Give them the same address you gave to CIO as correspondence.

This is written on the Visa-specific forms checklist:

Transcripts: original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in university-sealed envelopes

And my question was what address should I put on envelope so the university can issue these transcripts. I went ahead and put the following address:

Citizenship & Immigration Canad
Federal Skilled Worker
Centralized Intake Office
196 George Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 1J3
Canada

THat's exactly what I did!

My transcripts are in english, but my BSc degree is in arabic, so this would be translated and notarized as "true copy".

Why did the university ask you for an address? They will forward the envelops to this address or they will give you the envelops on hand, it will just mention an address on the outside?
If it's the second case then it's okay. Put your own address, CIO won't mind about this, as long as everything is according to their demands.
Good luck!

Dude,

you are being mislead.

you dont need to give address to your university. you have to get that sealed envelepe with you and Send it along with your complte package.
CIO will not accept transcripts from university.

Yes, salman. It also sounds weird to me that they ask for an address. But all universities have different procedures when they issue transcripts. It might be just a formality for them. e.g. they just write outside the envelope the name of the graduate and his details. In that case I see no problem.
It would only be a problem if they want to post the transcripts themselves instead of giving them to the applicant.

Yep...
DO NOT ask the University to forwards the Transcripts. You have to include everything in the same package that you send to CIO.
