Hi Fellow Forumers,
I think I am in a unique situation.
So I got PPR on the 14th and I reside in the US with my son while my husband lives in our home country. I requested a VO change for my husband. My husband and I then thought about it and felt it would be more convenient for him to send his passport to me in the US and I send the package to Ottawa as a single package. So immediately, after about 48 hours after the initial mail, I sent another letter to CIC to retract the initial letter I sent asking for a VO change for my husband. To my surprise, I received a letter in myCIC today asking to send his passport to Nigeria within the next 15 days.
His passport is already here with me in the US and we plan to send the package tomorrow.
I plan to send a letter to explain but apart from that, is there anything else I can do?
And I hope this is not an "unpardonable offense" with CIC?
Anyone had this experience? ANy thoughts?
