Unique Situation: Need Help

I am in an unique situation.

• I got my PR along with my wife & daughter. I was the primary applicant.
  
  
• After soft landing my wife went back to India & I am working in Canada.
  
  
• Situation might arise where in my wife will not able to fulfill her 2 years residency requirement while I become eligible for citizenship.
  
  
• In that scenario can I sponsor my wife as a Canadian citizen? What are the chances of approval?
