can anyone tell me how long it takes to get the marriage certificate from the Union Council? Where do we apply and what documents are needed? Do we apply at NADRA office?

You would first need to change statuses of yours and your wife's on the NIC card first from your area's Nadra office, that would take around 10 to 12 days (if paid urgent fees).

then when you receive those you would attach copies of them and a copy of Nikkah nama then you could submit for Marriage certificate, you could also ask them to make FRC (Family registration Certificate) which also serves as a proof for your marriage and both of them with (Urgent FEES) would take around 15 days.
