Hello Everyone!
So I am a Canadian Citizen sponsoring my husband. We have filled all the papers and have gotten all the documents ready but a complication has come up and need your urgent help and advise!
I do not have a job at the moment but am looking for one, I do not want to wait to apply until I get a job as I do not want to delay the application any further (already took a lot of time filling forms etc.). I am volunteering at a place (will get a letter from them) and signed up with local employment services to help me find a job.
I have also gotten a letter from my dad stating that he will support us until we can stand on our own feet. I have also provided proof of my savings..which is around $2000...i know not a lot but at least something! My husband has a steady job back in India and has savings of his own.
I thought this would be enough but many people are advising me to wait and find a job n then apply...they are saying that it is an unwritten rule but they tend to delay applications where the sponsor does not have a job. They are saying to make the application solid and then submit it...it will get approved faster that way.
Does anyone have advise regarding this situation?
Please and thank you.
