Hi

Please I would need some advice with my study permit application.

1. I am required to submit biographical, stamps, and visa pages of my passport. I just renewed my passport so my stamps and visas are on the old passport. Do I submit the biographical pages of both passport and the stamp and visa pages of the old passport?

2. In my application it was optional for me to provide a letter of explanation. Do I include this letter? Although this is my first time applying as an undergraduate and I'm applying for four years. I read in a place that letter of explanation is only for people who do not need a study permit but they still want to get one or for people that were refused at the first time. Also I wasn't asked to provide a statement of purpose but people say that I am to submit a statement of purpose showing that I have ties with my home country and explaining why I want to study in Canada. A statement of purpose wasn't included in my document checklist and the letter of explanation is optional. Please what do I do?

3. Concerning financial support, I have a sponsorship letter and bank statements from my dad and an award scholarship letter from my school. People advice that I need to pay my tuition fees upfront so that I can increase my chances. I am aware that paying of tuition fees is not a prerequisite for obtaining study permit. I know some people that didn't pay an upfront tuition fee and they got their permit. My acceptance letter only indicates a range of tuition fees depending on program type and course selection that is chosen. Assuming I decide to pay the upfront tuition, I have to wait till I register for my classes in June so that I can have the exact amount of tuition fees that I'm to pay. Waiting till June before I submit my application could extend my processing time to the resumption date. I have paid my admission deposit which will be added to my tuition. Do you think that I can include this receipt to substitute for my upfront tuition? Please what's the best solution?

Thank you. Sorry it's a lengthy message
