undeclared status and kids while entering canada

when i enter canada im using a single status..so in other words i didnt declare that i am married with 2 kids,, but where separated (physically) since 2010,,all my documents are single status..now my question is it still possible to declare my children in applying for residency and declare my new/commonlaw-partner because we've been together for 4 years.

If you are a PR and you have family members who were not declared AND examined when you "landed", you are a) guilty of misrepresentation and b) can't ever sponsor them. This includes your new partner if you were common-law before you landed. When exactly did you land as a permanent resident in Canada?

You can never sponsor your children since you failed to delcare them.

Based on the information you have provided it also sounds like you failed to declare that you have a common law partner - in which case you can never sponsor that common law partner either.

And yes - you have committed misrepresentation (lying in an immigration application) which means your PR status could be revoked by CIC at any time (even your citizenship once you have it).

It was a very bad idea to lie in your application.

In that case, yes you can. In fact, you MUST declare all of them. They will be be medically examined and undergo background checks. You will need to be legally separated or divorced from your wife, or you will have problems with the application.

Still a misrepresentation... Immigration is very strict with regards to it.. You might have a problem applying for PR.
