Hi,
I applied online for a Canadian tourist visa 4 weeks ago to attend my best friend's wedding. Couple of days ago I got a message on MyCIC that I need to upload one additional document to my online application.he document requested is an I797 form for people who have H1B visa in USA.
I can't seem to figure out a way to upload that requested document. I went to the View Checklist section of my application, but there is no option to upload that additional document.
I do see "Did CIC request an additional document from you? +/-", but clicking on it just brings up more information "If CIC has requested additional documentation to support your application, please upload, the document (s) requested. ...." I still can't find additional option to upload my form.
Am I looking at the wrong place to upload the additional document?
If I can't upload it online, is it ok to just mail them a photocopy with a letter of explanation?
I already sent an email to question@cic.gc.ca, Webmaster-CICNet@cic.gc.ca 3 days ago, but haven't heard back from them.
Any other help/advice is greatly appreciated.
