Unable to Produce Letter of Reference from previous employers for Ontario PNP

Dear All,

I have a query and it seems rhetorical but I guess it applies to most. I am unable to get a reply from OINP ask the expert option.

I have recently received a PT notification to apply for PNP and it will be under human capital priorities scheme. Now, CIC clearly states in its application package that "if you are unable to produce a document then provide logical explanation for it." But Ontario application guide doesn't specify anything like this.

My dilemma is that my previous two companies had to shut down due to downsizing and other reasons and am unable to get reference letters for them. Although this doesn't effect my score with CIC or Ontario PNP.

Should I include these details of employment and produce the documents I have or simply not include these details?

Please provide your expert opinions on the basis of past experience.

I have same situation for my job 12 years back, though my company existing. I got SINP nomination and provided the below -

1. Letter of Explanation why not I can't provide it
2. Statutory Declaration mentioning my job descriptions and reason not providing reference. Put the name of your supervisor if you still connected.
3. Provide resignation letter, joining contract, salary slip etc. as more documents supporting to your job.

I hope it will work.

Hello,

I am sailing on the same boat.

I have more than 10 years of experience but I am unable to provide payslips of my first job. I have offer letter and experience letters to support mu case but my advisers are asking to get bank statements for the same. I am unable to get 10 years old bank statements.

Secondly I worked in UK for several years, there I have been shifted to various department in the same company. I have all tax documents and payslips and worst thing is that company shut down for some reason. Now I am trying to contact it's personal department but I am unable to reach.

So what should I do for these? I only have full documents of my current employer. So that means I will only be able to show 3 years experience? Then my overall eligibility will affected.

This for Pr and PNP program.

Please guide me.
