Unable to link PR Card application with EE profile

I tried to add my PR card to my EE profile today. After providing the details (UCI/FamilyName/City/Country), the official CIC website says that there is no application with the details provided.
Not sure what is going on here. I landed in Canada on Jul 21.
Is there any timeline after which the new PR Card application starts showing up or do I need to get in touch with CIC/CBSA for this?

What is the best way to reach out the CIC outside Canada except the IRCC Webform/CRS?

I have heard that it is normal and not everyone is able to link their applications.. People who have called CIC have been told that newcomers are not required to link their first PR Card application to their online account.

That's a relief. Although the reason I wanted to link my application was to be informed about the progress and ETA of my PR card delivery.
Will linking the application give me the above information?
Is there any way to get update on the status of my PR card application apart from this?

linking the application will allow you to know when your card has been approved and dispatched. but the thing is if you can't link then you will not be able to.

you maybe able to contact the IRCC call centre for updates on your PR card.
