Unable to link my visa application online.

Hi,
I submitted my file on 23rd of April for Sept'18 Intake (Centennial College). Mine is paper based file. I tried to link my file online to track the status. However, when I created my account on CIC (gckey) and tried to link my application, it is throwing error "no application found based on your criteria".
I do not have the application number or UCI.

I believe the issue is with family name as I do not have any in my passport and it's mandatory field. I tried numerous combinations but no success as yet.

Please suggest how to link that successfully.

I submitted my application on the 22nd of April. I also wasn't able to link my application because in my application form I don't have a given name and all the name is Family name. Is there any way to get the application number of UCI?

It is being said that in about a week of your application submittion you get student acknowledgement email on your email id from embessy which inclues application number. However, I have not recieved that either and my agent also does not have that.

you can do it with your passport number, and linking a paper base file online is tedious, you have to keep trying plenty numbers of time
