So I know you have to apply for the parent and grandparent supervisa from the country of origin. Sure, no problem. We took the online questionnaire to determine if a visa is necessary, and it invariably only let us apply for the eTA. Not helpful (even though we do need this, it's NOT what we're trying to apply for). So we called Immigration's number, and were told that we'd have to apply by paper. So we paid the fee, included the receipt and posted it off to Paris (applying from Portugal). Then we got it returned with a letter saying you cannot apply for visas by mail or in person, and to do it online. But I cannot do it online. Does anyone know what the heck is going on?
