unable to access gc key profile

a crazy thing happened.

i am unable to access my cic account.
i recently changed my password and security questions and now nothing is working. i am getting suspended for 24 hours whenever i try it 3 times.

i got my ITA on dec 22 2016

what can i do?

Either contact Technical support (which i assume is rather tedious) create another GCKey and use the button 'Link application to this account' in the newly created account, and link your existing EE profile with this GCKey.

I have my permanent residency application in the old gc key

Will that also be transferref?
I got the ita on dec 22
If i link the old one to the new one then will the p.r application come in the new one and ican proceed with the application in the new gc key?

I hope it should work, but i am not sure as i have never done it myself. I only advised you on logic.

There is no harm in trying...If it doesn't get linked to the new one any way you will have to reach out to the Tech. support to resolve it for you.

I have heard things like now the account is locked forever and nothing can be done which gives me goosebumps.
