Many people ask that why going to Canada from UK , which is best ?

I can say UK may be best country to live but Ca offering PR.

But again every one got there personal choice about UK or CA , what I think i about me is :

For me I am in UK since 7 year, came as student , ATM HSMP since 2.3 year.
Will be UK PR in 2.9 year on based upon my HSMP or 3 year on based upon 10 year stay .

Got stable Job , good money, own house (mortgage ) , friends etc, It's near to India and got best weather in world etc etc .

Applied for FSW , at time when my HSMP application was pending in home office .

But as now got My Ca PR. I will be leaving UK and going Ca as I think below :

Canada accepting us where we will be Canadian once we got Canadian citizenship , where as for UK even if we get Citizenship , we will be British Indian or British Asian (we won't be English ).
This country giving preference to English and European over Immigrant , even once you got British Citizenship they sub class you as - British White , British Carrabian , British African or British Asian .

Human right is strong in UK but only if you willing to fight every time for your rights .

No value for Education in UK (mostly) even for Technicals job, you are B.Tech or M.Tech. But will always get competition with people with A levels if they got experience in your field . Nothing like Regulated occupation here (for most of field ) where as in Ca you can only go for Eng jobs if you got proper qualification and licence .

Rules changing day by day , so it's not easy to call your family member in UK (though to call parents in UK is easy then in Ca once you got PR ) .
Easiest route to call your cousins and siblings is student route , in UK if they came as student now then no surety for them to get settle here perm but its easy for them to settle if they come to Canada as student .
(most imp reason for me to choose Ca) .

Canada is near to US , so immigrant people coming to Ca on one hand but lots of Ca citizen moving to US on other hand maintaining gap between supply and demand . Whereas UK getting over crowded by European people plus not many Asian people leave UK once they got PR.

It all depends on circumstances, cant match with each other!

Could UK allow expat kids same level of education facilities such as fee reduction etc or Canada does so?

Hello aquib,

First of all, I congratulate you on getting PR of CANADA... it is indeed a land of dream for many.. !!

but truth is that it turned out to be land of nightmare also for many immigrants who landed ther and then could not get settled as they have dreamed at the time of getting PR.

so, you must check your future prospects such as getting a job, finding a home, about your kids schooling and other things before moving to CANADA.

As you clearly indicated, CANADA has the tradition of regulated professions and if you possess one such, then for initial year or two will be very tough for you... as you will not be able to get the job in your field of study as well as you must get the accreditation from the body of regulations for your study.

One more problem faced by new immigrants in canada is " no canadian education" and "no canadian experience" when facing interview....

however other benefits like free schooling for kids, good healthcare benefits and old age allowances are very good if you compare CANADA with UK.
One more thing, CANADA have plenty of open wide spaces compared to UK (if you lived in london). So you will be able to enjoy the landscapes and nature here, but if you get time to do such activities then only :)

in a nutshell, if I want to end my talk here... before moving to CANADA from UK where you are settled and you have a nice job, home and friends. Also you will be getting UK citizenship after completion of 10 years, think twice. Make a plan if you have made up your mind to go to CANADA permanently.

lots depend upon luck, inshallah we wish for best rest he knows

so, you must check your future prospects such as getting a job, finding a home, about your kids schooling and other things before moving to CANADA.

kids schoolings is free in both places

As you clearly indicated, CANADA has the tradition of regulated professions and if you possess one such, then for initial year or two will be very tough for you... as you will not be able to get the job in your field of study as well as you must get the accreditation from the body of regulations for your study.

me and my wife both in regulated occupations and we started process to get licence , inshallah we will getting it sorted by landing time

One more problem faced by new immigrants in canada is " no canadian education" and "no canadian experience" when facing interview....

trust me , there is no thing called CANADA Experience or Canada Education, nor interview matter much, all matter your luck, knowledge and once you got licence in your regulated occupation then you at par with those with Canadian education , we be leave that our UK experience will help us too [/colour]

however other benefits like free schooling for kids, good healthcare benefits and old age allowances are very good if you compare CANADA with UK.

thease may be good in Ca if compare to India/ Pak but these type of benifits are much more in UK

One more thing, CANADA have plenty of open wide spaces compared to UK (if you lived in london). So you will be able to enjoy the landscapes and nature here, but if you get time to do such activities then only :)

we not live in London , never like that much congesition. Live couple of drive from there in nice town

in a nutshell, if I want to end my talk here... before moving to CANADA from UK where you are settled and you have a nice job, home and friends. Also you will be getting UK citizenship after completion of 10 years, think twice. Make a plan if you have made up your mind to go to CANADA permanently.

it's will be PR in 2.8 year in UK. But I can't call my family easily whereas in Ca trying to call my sister , brother and there spouses. That's biggest reason to move Canada . Will try to call brother in some PR like MI 5. Or Qubec invester , and my sister fiancée in student visa , visit or super visa for parents. All hard but again lets wish for best and give a try

Again we have done lot of hard work in UK, from scratch to settle jobs , Now willing to treat first 6 month in Ca as just understanding Ca , type of holiday. As will be having second baby after 3.5 month of landing so wanna give time to my wife and Childern , plus from UK me and my wife both will be taking 1 year holiday from our work - wife on paid maternity leave and I on long term family unpaid leave , we are lucky that we able to get those so at least we will have back up if things didn't work out . brother when we came UK for first 2-3 year we both use to work 60-70 hours in week, have done many type of work which we can't even think to do in our Indian life , then we had our first baby in UK and we both took off from work , wife got maternity pay from 2 job for 9 month and 1 year. And I concentrated in my MBA. No jobs for full 13 month and then we both eventually got good respected well paid job , which we could never get if we wouldn't took long break . That time I realise that all who talk about UK experience , UK qualification is BS. Only things matter is your knowledge and confidence that you can do something. My most of friend are still doing same Macdonald , Tesco or Barclaycard job as they think that they can't get better then that jobs .
Btw I may utilise that first 6 month of time in some work from home type thing or if get 1-2 friends agree to move calgary (they in Toronto in student visa) then may set up a pizza shop which will be definitely additional income for us in future even I go into my field job .
