UK visa refusal

Hi all, I got visa refusal of UK in 2009 and I dont remember information of that refusal (application number or date when I applied). Now I am applying for immigration canada. Can i just tell
Them details that there was a refusal and not give information about my file because I dont have any information.

Yes, as long as you're honest and truthful, you should be good!

My aim is to be to give out as much information as available. Since my application was in paper and sent via courier back then.

Do you know of anyone who would have submitted as much info and shared a success story.

I did see many applicants having similar story like yours being successful while applying for Canada. The key word is being honest! As long as you do that, IRCC wouldn't care much. Explain everything in the LOE!
