UK transit VISA while flying BA

Hi All,

I will be flying BA from Delhi to Toronto and have a 10 hour layover at Heathrow. Wanted to check if Transit VISA should be good, as I plan to get out of the airport to catch a quick glimpse of the city?

If it's VTV (Visitor Transit Visa), then yes. But your flight needs to leave on the day you land in the UK, or before midnight the following day.
If it's DATV (Direct Airside Transit Visa), then no.
