Hey,
I am just about to submit my application to extend my visitor visa. I'm really worried about it being refused! I am here with my partner of 7 years, he has an IEC work permit and is working full time. I have enough funds to support myself for the next 6 mths, with help from him.
I have completed the 'Come to Canada' wizard and it has given me a document checklist, however it doesn't have the 'Declaration of Common-Law' form IMM 5409 as a requirement. I have seen on a forum that I would have to complete one of these, but if it is not on the document checklist (which will correspond to the code I use for my application) they will refer to should I assume I don't need to do this?
Does anyone have a tips on getting this approved??! Just nervous as there are a lot of changes this year and I previously applied for a work permit but was refused - so worried they'll just say no!
Thanks,
Jess
