Hi

My wife & I are UK citizens but have lived along with our 3 youngs sons in Spain for 4 years. We are very keen to explore the possibilties of moving to Nova Scotia.

We are unsure if we qualify as "skilled" workers, we are both in our 30's & are UK qualified Financial adviser's although I am sure that Canada has no shortage of these at the moment!

After lots of internet research we are hoping that we are the kind of family that can offer something to Canada but we do not know where to start the application process, we are a little nervous about completing a quick immigration questionaire (unless that is the normal procedure) as it doesn't really offer our full picture.

Can anyone point us in the right direction of who to contact please?

Thanks in advance

Try the "free assessment questionnaire" : http://www.canadavisa.com/
You can also try searching http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp to see if you qualify in any of the immigration routes to Canada. All the best :)

if you are in finance and have more than one yr exp. you may be eligible to Federel Skilled Worker class. Please go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-how.asp and http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list
for more info.
I would suggest that you should visit to Canada as you don't need any visa and see if you like it and browse the jobs while you are here to see how job market is etc.
