Good day!

I hope someone out there can help me out.

I have a bf who is living in California. He is a U.S Citizen. Since I got a tourist visa to Canada, we are planning to get married in Canada this year since they allow same sex marriage. Is our marriage will be valid in California? since this state also allows same marriage?

And after marriage, can he start to process to sponsor me to bring in U.S? please share your thoughts.
