Been wondering if a marriage contract with a regime of community property shows a stronger bond/commitment to IRCC vs a separated property marriage? anybody has any insights on this?

No, all that matters is whether or no the marriage is valid.

What happens to the silverware after a divorce has no bearing on the validity of the marriage.

What you need to prove is the genuine nature of the relationship, and that the marriage was not primarily entered into for immigration purposes. That basically means you need to prove you got married for love, not status.
