Hi, does anyone know if this will be a problem?
I have already mailed the application to the Mississauga processing center.
I know that there are different kinds of Spousal Sponsorship, so I thought it was important to specify: Family Class on the envelope.
I did not write: Spousal, as I was not sure if I should: when I was paying the fees, a clear distinction was made between Spousal applications and Family Class application (and this was the primary reason biasing my choice to specify: Family Class).
If they are liable to refuse, can someone advise me on if it is possible to contact CIC, and clarify the issue, so that the application can be accepted?
Lastly, I am confused by this passage:
Submit the document checklist
Make sure you use and submit the Document Checklist (IMM 5491) along with your application forms and supporting documents.
Note
Sign the form
The application must be signed and dated before it is submitted.
Note: If your application is not signed and dated, it will be returned to you.
By application, do they mean the application forms?
Or do they mean the Document Checklist itself?
I did not date and sign the document checklist, as I was not instructed explicitly to so do.
All other application forms are signed and dated, where indicated in the Guide(ie. excluding the sponsorship evaluation, where this was not indicated).
Thanks.
