I received my degree evaluation report from WES a month ago. However, I believe there is an error in the evaluation.
I have a 2-year Master's degree in MS Data Science from year 2018 to 2020, but the degree evaluation report incorrectly states that it is equivalent to a 4-year Bachelor's degree. As a result, my Master's degree is being considered as a second Bachelor's degree along with my actual 4 year Bachelor's degree from year 2008 to 2013 in Computer Software Engineering . This is problematic because I need the correct my degree evaluation to apply for a PhD program based on my Master's degree
I send mail to WES resolve this issue
They WES email me today
"Degree equivalency is determined both by the accumulation of credits and the completion of a structured program of study. In making an equivalency decision, WES also considers additional criteria such as the length of the program, admission requirements, institution standing, presence of quality assurance mechanisms in the country of study, and educational outcomes.
We reviewed your report and confirmed it is correct. We would like to emphasize that WES evaluations are advisory opinions and not binding upon any institution or organization."
How shoud i solve this issue ?
