Two or more certificates,diploma,degree option (same degrees)

Hi,

I would like to ask about the “two or more certificate” option.

I have a bachelors degree in accounting from a university outside Canada. I was also accepted into a post-baccalaureate diploma in Accounting from a university in Canada. The reason I’m doing another degree in accounting is because I am pursuing my Canadian CPA (chartered professional accountant), and my bachelors degree is missing some pre-requisite courses for the CPA. Therefore, that’s the reason I chose to do another diploma in the same program.

My question is, assuming that my ECA report determines that my bachelors is a 3 year or more degree, could I chose the “two or more certificate” option once I finish my post-Bach diploma program, even though they are in the same field?

If you have a bachelor in accounting and a further post-graduate in the same field you should receive points for
(vi) 128 points, if the foreign national has two or more post-secondary program credentials and at least one of them was issued at the completion of a post-secondary program of three years or more,

Just to clarify, it’s not a post graduate degree (Masters) as you state, it’s a diploma.

Will it still be eligible?

I didn't say degree in my post. The criterion is "two or more post-secondary program credentials"

so basically it doesn’t matter if it’s in the same field, the determining factor is that they both have to be post-secondary credentials , with one of them being three years or more.
