Hey Guys, after linking my paper based PNP application to myCIC account, The 'express entry option' under 'what would you like to do today' has disappeared. Now, I also want to apply in express entry. Should i make second myCIC account?. Please reply. Thanks

You cannot have paper based PR application (under the provincial nomination) and express entry (PR application) running simultaneously at the same time. its either one or the other. If you create a new account and you receive an ITA, you will be asked to drop one of the applications.

You have to decide what you want to do. If you've already applied for PR through provincial nomination, then you have to patiently wait and go through the process.

Hello BC4life,

Actually, I've read a number of times on this forum that I can do express entry and pnp applications at same time. Then, once i get PPR from EE, i can withdraw Paper application. So, I'm confused as DRWOU is saying opposite to it. Anyway, opinions from more people can clarify this thing and also, respond to my original question. Thank you.

Yes you can. I have friends who have done it before. Just make sure you withdraw one application after another one is approved.
