Two Express Entry Profile

Hi Friend,

I have created an account by myself in CIC portal and started filling my information for PR. But I never completely filling all the information or not submitted the final form.

Then I hired a lawyer last week and they submitted my case from their login. I have now the confirmation number for the application my lawyer submitted.

My question is - Since my previous account is still there, though nothing submitted from that account, should I close that account? I don't want any confusion due to two accounts.

Please let me know what do you think. Thanks.

Nothing to worry. If you want, you can deactivate/close the [MyCIC] account you created on your own.

As long as the initial account is not in the pool, you should be fine. I would just close it anyway.
