Two BOWP applications - online and paper based

Hi All, need an advice... My PGWP expires in May 2016... 4 months from now... I do not wish to go on implied status, hence will apply a BOWP now.... Can I also make another BOWP application just before my PGWP expires? ...That way i can have implied status for atleast 4 months, even if my first BOWP application gets rejected (though there is no reason, I'm cynically just thinking in case)....

Can we apply for 2 BOWP applications? One online and another via Paper?

Additionally, I have also have 2 AORs - one from old CEC and another from EE application...both in process. Should I send both AORs to my BOWP application or only one of them now and another one later in second BOWP application??

Hi, my situation is similar to yours.

CEC September 2014
EE October 2015
BOWP application December 2015

I applied online, adding both AOR.
You always should tell CIC everything and you should include both AOR.

I got EE approved on January 2016 so I have to withdraw BOWP application.

I recommend to apply online BOWP ASAP.

If BOWP is refused before WP expires you can reapply to BOWP.

If you have no news 1-2 weeks before WP expires you can reapply BOWP using a different way (paper) to get implicit status for a while until second application is refused or you're asked about withdraw one of them.

Hopefully your EE will be approved by the WP expires.

If you don't apply for a BOWP you can't stay in Canada after WP expires

I don't think Implied status can be granted just applying PR, some years ago some friend told me that but nowadays I'm not confident about it.

You get Implied Status when applies BOWP until decision is made.

Hello Guys,

I want to apply for BOWP online. There is a questtionaire which is leading me to Express Entry since it says I will be eligble for Express Entry.
I have already applied for Express Entry and already have my AOR. My lawyer has applied for me, I just created a new GC KEY account to apply for BOWP.

How do I get to the page of the Open Work Permit? and how I do I go further?

Please Help!!
