Hello,
I urgently need advice on the following matter. I have a single entry TRV to Canada. On the day I entered Canada at the port of entry they stamped that I can stay for 6 month till February. The dates of my actual visa that was given to me to enter Canada are expired, so only that stamp makes my stay valid and legal in Canada. One of these days I have to make a very important trip to the US for just a few days. There's no problem for me to enter the States as I have a multiple entry visa. The only question that keeps me worried, - if I cross the border to the US, can I return back to Canada using that stamp in my passport that was given to me at the port of entry and still valid till February?
Thank you in advance.

Your single entry visa allows you to exit Canada and enter again if you only exit to the US, St Pierre and Miguelon:

A single entry visa allows you to enter Canada only once. This visa may also be used for repeated entries into Canada from the USA or St. Pierre and Miquelon provided you do not enter another country. Such entries must occur within the time validated for your stay in Canada. For example, you may be given six months from the date you enter Canada at the port of entry.
