What mode of payment ? Usually there are several mode of payment offered by the institution , I reckon all other mode of transfer is just fine but I'm not sure of Wire tranfer though.

I don‘t suppose there would be any problem with your sister paying the tuition. For proof of payment of tuition, you would be submitting a receipt from DLI which wouldn’t necessarily say who paid it. In terms of GIC, the issuing bank requires that the money come from an account in your name.
My brother-in-law paid for my first year tuition fee with his credit card. This was reflected in my college fee receipt and what I submitted in my SP application.
