Hi all,

I have been working in Quebec, for the last year, I am from England on an "Experience Canada Working Holiday Visa" that runs out in a year (it was for 2 years).

I had a job before arriving here in Quebec, and they want to keep me. I need to apply for residency, so i can live in Quebec and stay at my place of work.

Having looked around online, i found a vast amount of different visas for Canada, and I am not sure which one i need to apply for, so I am seeking help from anyone with any information or anyone that might have moved to Quebec from England in the past.

- I have employment
- I have a good understanding of French (could be better)
- I have apartment
etc etc.

Thank you! :)

Thanks for that, really useful information :)

However, because ive been here on a "experience canada" working holiday, would that class as a temp work visa? so im not sure if i should

apply for permenant residence or
apply for a temp work visa, then apply for residence

I know I cant apply for residence until after 12 months working on a temp work visa, its been over 12 months but not sure if the working holiday visa im on counts as a temp work visa
