Hi everyone,
My girlfriend applied for a TRVL visa as an extended family member and was rejected because :
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
Just a bit of background, She is from China and we did previously try in 2019 as well which also got rejected, but for many more reasons than above. This time we did it together and put all the information we could gather, which only came back with this reason, so that's good.
In regards to this specific reason, we have the following information to address this :
- Letter of employment
- Her bank statements showing her assets (Just investment account and cash in her bank, no house or car)
- Statements showing income
My suspicion is the refusal might be because she does not have any major assets and the purpose of the visit is to visit me and that we are engaged (This was in the letter of invitation).
Does anyone have any advice on how I can address this point?
