Hello, I got my visa few weeks ago. I applied for may intake 2021, its basically in UTP stage II, So next year I will transfer to university. The date of my program mentioned on the acceptance letter is April 2022. They issued my visa till April 2023 whereas my program is of 4 years ( anticipated end date 2025 ). I am not sure why they issued my visa for two years whereas everyone else is getting 4-5 year visas. Additionally, to renew it, do I have to apply again ? Going through the entire process again with all documentation ?

Does your first program end in 2023? Or does your passport expire before the end of your studies?

Utp stage II ends in 2022, then will transfer to university which ends in 2025. And my passport expires in 2026

I'm really not sure why this happened. You can try calling or emailing your VAC, I'm sure they'll be able to give you an answer
