Hi anyone who can solve my issue.
I was a PR. Applied for PRTD and was refused but did not appeal.
My husband and son fly back to Toronto before their PR expire that was in
Sept 2016. Their card expired on 21st OCT 2016.
They have to be there for 2 years to do the renewal of the PR as there did not
complete 730 days.
My question is... Can my husband issue me an invitation letter for me to visit them?
Thought of visiting them in March next year.
I will return back home as my daughter still in university here.
Please could anyone there help me with this?
Thanks

Yes, they can invite you.

You will have to prove CIC that you are not using the TRV as an excuse to re-enter Canada as your PR status has been lost.

Good luck.

But will she even be given a TRV. If I recall correctly, she needs to give up her PR before applying for TRV.
Her PRTD was denied because she probably did not meet the RO.
But as per process, she is still a PR and she either needs to give it up voluntarily or it needs to be revoked after RO investigation.

Good points. OP needs to clarify these questions in the correct subforum:

Hi experts,

Ye,s I did not meet RO.
But, In the letter says that if I did nit appeal my PR will be revoked.
Pls, What kind of prove I have to show them that I am not going to be in Canada permanently
I have a house, receiving pension here, my daughter is still in university . Anything else I need to proof?
Thanks to everyone

There are 2 steps involved.
1st. You need to get your PR status taken off. You are correct that if you do not appeal, it will be revoked. But that process will take some time, I don't know how much. And technically you cannot apply for TRV till that process is complete.
2nd. Once your PR status goes off, you can apply for TRV just like everybody else does.
That is where ties to home country comes in play. The more ties you show, the better. But there is no definitive checklist you can follow.

Thank you alok4best.
1 more question.
My husband did not have enough RO and his card expired on the 21st OCt 2016.
He still can give me invitation letter?
I badly wanted to visit my son.
In my letter can I put there as I am going to stay for 3 months?
Thanks you

Not so sure about this to be honest.
If an invitation from your husband triggers his verification by any chance, he will be in trouble.

I will pass and let senior members comment on this.
