Hi,

I have a question. I wanna renew my visa in Canada as a student,also my husband who lives in my home country wants to come to Canada as a visitor. Can I include his name in my own file as a family member? Is it OK if in one application the main applicant is inside Canada and the family member is from outside Canada?

What do you hope to accomplish by including his name in your file? His TRV application will be procesed and judged on its own merits (i.e. if he has a job, if he has ties to his home country for which he will return, etc). Your visa renewal has nothing to do with his TRV application.

Furthermore, this is not a situation where he is accompanying you to Canada since you are already here and he is still back home. Simply submit your own visa renewal applicati and he can submit his TRV application.
