TRV with work permit

Hi, those who recently received a work permit at the border, did you also receive a TRV ( temporary visa)?
I just got a work permit but didn't receive a TRV. But I received an confirmation work permit application email from cic saying that I should have also received a TRV pasted into one of the pages in my passport.

No, visa is not coming with work permit.
But if you already have the workperit, it will be very easy to apply the visa as inland.
