TRV with OWP/study permit

Hello all,
Me along with my wife are applying together where I am applying for study permit & my wife is applying for OWP. We are applying online & there is a option to submit "Application for TRV(IMM5257B)" which is optional. My ques is if we submit this form along with our application is there any chance to reject our application??

Well others can correct me but do you any have choice with a TRV unless you are from a visa exempt country
