Hi everyone,
We just got our GSMC notes for my girlfriend who was rejected based on the reason below.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
GSMC Note - "The applicant's purpose of visit appears vague and poorly documented, weighing the factors in this application, I am not satisfied that the applicant will depart Canada at the end of the period authorized for their stay."
My GF is from China applying to Canada via extended family TRV visa. We have a strong application aside from this last point it seems and would like some advice on how we can make our case stronger that she will return after her visit?
Our previous application had a letter from her work stating the time she will be gone for and approval, as well as proof of her work being legitimate (Documentation on the business license stuff with official stamp and showed history of salary payments).
Some things we considered adding is:
- she leased a store for her side job of making custom cakes (1 year lease, translate and include this in a new application)
- write a letter from her explaining why should will return after her say and emphasize her work/store lease/financial ties/plane ticket back
- purchase her return ticket to strengthen the claim of leaving at the end of stay
- providing details on what she will do during her stay in canada (How detailed should this be?), we already did this for example, 3 days in montreal, 1 day in niagara falls 1 week in toronto, etc?
We feel we are close, but just looking for advice.
Thanks!
