Trv visa validity

Dear experts,

My TRV was approved on 28th August 2020 and as per process they pasted visa with expiry date one day before my passport expiry date which 23rd March 2022.

Now my question is that if I renew my passport with 10 years validity and reapply for TRV to paste new visa with 10 years validity, will it work?

My biometrics expiry is also 10 years.

My PR application is in progress and SA already received. My file is in LVO for PA approval but I am afraid that if PA application is rejected for any reason then I should have a back up plan because my wife is in canada.

I am afraid that if PA is rejected then they will not approve TRV Again.

In my case everything is fine we are married since 2014 but I am just afraid after reading bad experiences of lot of people with ircc.

Others can comment but would be no guarantee that if you renew your passport that a new TRV would be approved or would even be valid for 10 years. The Fact you already had an approved TRV before may be a positive but with immigration there are no guarantees and decsions tend to be made based on circumstances at the time.
