It is not registered till now.

Shall I ask my spouse to apply for TRV visa now ?

Thanks

The wedding is set to happen in Canada? Where is your fiancé from?

Yes I would apply now. I think processing times for TRV are a bit longer than they use to be. Depends on your VO I think.

What if your spouse is denied a TRV? What’s plan B?

Hi,

The Wedding is planned in India in month of May.

At present nothing is registered in paper. She has a full time job in India.

I thought of asking her to apply for a TRV now

Thanks

You probably have a better chance if you apply now. Although not impossible, once you are married the chances of getting a TRV diminish exponentially.

Ok, sorry I assumed you meant the wedding was in Canada.

Still, I would apply now for the TRV. CIC website says average processing time is 32 days, but definitely could be longer. You also need time to gather all the necessary information.

Good luck!
