TRV Stamping

Hi

I have TRV stamped just for 1 year in my passport. I want to stamp it for further 1 more year until my work permit expires. What do i need to do? Should i send just passport to CIC buffalo and they will stamp it or do i need to send a letter with my passport mentioning i m sending passport for further one year stamping?
