TRV since two months no response

.Hi , l am from India. I applied on 27 Feb and my biometrics done on 14 March. Since there is no response . Has any one been waiting since near this time

Have you applied online and can log in via GCKey and see what the status is? Or do you have an application number you can link via GCKey?

I applied online throw agent. He said ur status showing background cheque from last two months

And do you not trust the agent?

Do you or has anyone in your family worked for government or the military? That's a common delay in background checks.

Yes I trust him.
No, there is no one in my family who is govt employee. I am just worry about delay. Could u pls tell me how much time they take

Background checks take as long as they take. No one can provide an estimate. If yours has taken this long already, it's likely you have some kind of security screening ongoing.

In Jan 2019 I applied USA visa n it got denied .that's why agent said they r checking background.

It was due to double name I had another name ( nick name) I wrote in my FACE BOOK. I hadn't discribed in my file. That why it was declined

That means that your security screening is ongoing. Something in your personal profile has caused IRCC to send your file to CSIS for a security review. That's why I asked if you or any of your family had worked in government or military. If you work in a large company, or have a name similar to someone who does, that can also be part of it. Security screenings take a long time, and no one really knows how they work.

Ok, pls tell me one thing more sir. I don't have any thing like that. After all background checks . Will they give us CA Visa.
