Hello,

I am a Canadian Citizen and got married 18 months ago in Pakistan. My husband is a Pakistani national and has his own business (imports electronics). We live in Karachi since his business is doing really well. We wanted to visit family in the summers and my husband applied for the Visitor's Visa but his Visa got rejected on the grounds that he will not return to Pakistan due to:

-Family ties in Canada (myself and my parents)
-His nature of employment (since he is self employed)
-Financial Status (which makes no sense since his assets are way too much)

Is there any advice you all can provide as to what I should be doing now?
-Can I immediately reapply?
-what can I change to meet the requirements?

I will really appreciate your help
JazakAllah

Did he submit an explanation letter?
How long was the stay supposed to be?
Did you submit an itinerary?

From what I can see the problem is that he has more reasons to move to Canada than to stay in his country. He is married to a Canadian that can help him stay either illegally or as soon as he lands, help him to apply to stay.

Both should share your story and send some sort of proof that he has a buisness and plans to return as soon as his stay is done. I don't know what the Business Registration includes, but if it is only "we are registered" that means little, you have to prove the buisness is doing well, and forces him to come back from vacations as soon as they finish.

Hey,

Yes he did submit the explanation letter and the visit was supposed to be for a month, also he attached his ticket which he purchased and an itinerary.

The business registration was a document from the government stating that the business is registered and is a tax paying enterprise. The bank statements proved the business was doing well.

I just don't know what documents to provide to prove that we will return to our home country
