Hi there,

I am writing to inquire about my in laws. My father in law applied for TRV in 2014 without submitting any supporting documents, only the application form. And he was granted visa. He visited us for 2 and a half months.

My Mother in law had applied in 2012 with the application form plus the required documentation but hers got rejected on the basis that the ties to her home country were not strong enough.

Fast forward, both of them applied last March with proper documentation, land on their name, large amount in their banks, marriage certificates, a short stay period, our NOA, letter of invitation, etc. however, their visa was rejected on the basis that the visa officer was not convinced that they were intending to return back to their home country plus an identity issues was noticed.

They re applied again in Feb of this year with additional documents, and got rejected for similar standard reasons.

in May of this year, my husband hired a lawyer and all documents were arranged by the lawyer and submitted for mother and father in law. last week we heard back and their visa is rejected.

Can we apply for super-visa, what are the chances for approval considering they got rejected three times for TRV in one yr.

I also wanted to ask about something. My father in laws brother had travelled to US with his documents, he passed away there. His body was deported to back home. Would this show up in the background check, and could be that this is affecting their approval? if so, why it wasn't caught the first time when my fil was approved for TRV..was it just luck?

thanks, your help is appreciated.

Hi,

It would help if you provide the refusal reasons for each application.

My Mother in law had applied in 2012 with the application form plus the required documentation but hers got rejected on the basis that the ties to her home country were not strong enough.
This means your MIL has four TRV refusals. But, your FIL was approved once earlier + he visited too.

I could be completely wrong. Maybe your MIL's visa profile is impacting an approval for your FIL:
Has your MIL worked in a government department or the police or has political affiliations?
Has she traveled to or lived in any high-risk country?

What were the refusal reasons?
What identity issues were noticed?

It's not advisable to apply for any visa, TRV or super visa, without understanding why they are being repeatedly refused. I would recommend you order GCMS notes first

The body of a deceased person is repatriated. Only a living person can be deported.

There's no connection between your FIL's brother's death and these refusals. I'm assuming the deceased relative did not claim asylum nor did he commit any crimes

Cheers
